Domain Email

  Hello,
  I just bought the domain name for my WordPress site and am wondering if it comes with the ability to set up an email address? I.e., (email visible only to moderators and staff). I used to have a site on Blogger and one Gmail address setup came with the purchase of a domain through them.

  Hi Rayna,

  WordPress.com does not offer full-fledged email hosting capability. A feature known as email forwarding is, however, available, which you can use to create an email with your own domain after the “@” part.

  Mails sent to this address will be forwarded to another proper email ID that you own, for example, a Gmail account. You can’t use this address to send emails as “From”, so I won’t recommend going this route.

  If you want full email capability, there are a few options, like Zoho Mail, which is absolutely free and lets you use your domain to create email addresses.
