Domain Error
-
I am trying to register a domain for “quotesofthemoment.wordpress.com” and I want the domain to be “thequoteofthemoment.com” however, when I have tried to complete the domain purchase I get this error “error validation domain credit”
What am I doing wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

At what step in the registration process do you get that message? Can you show me a screenshot of what you are seeing?
Here are some screenshot instructions if you are not familiar with the process:
I find http://snag.gy/ to be very useful for sharing screenshots. You can also upload the screenshot to your site’s media library. I will be able to see it there.

Hi,
I’ve attached a screen shot of the issue to my library of my site. The path where I get the message is as follows:
Store>Domains>Register or Map a Domain>Enter Domain “thequoteofthemoment.com”>Register Now>Fill in Info>screenshot of next screen with error message at top.
Even after I enter credit card info (which I think I shouldn’t have to because I am a premium user), I get the error message again.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for looking into this, but I am still getting the error message.
Is there anyway you can just apply the domain registry through your system somehow?

I’m going to send you an email to the address you have registered with WordPress.com. Let me know if you don’t get it.

Thanks! I got the e-mail, and followed the instructions.
What you did worked perfectly.
Thanks for the help.
