Domain Expiration

Hey guys, my domain just expired and ill be renew it soon. I noticed it is still working after a few days, how long will it be until it fully expires ? I’m trying to renew it as soon as i can – thanks!

If you let the renewal for domain name registration go too long it will go into Redemption then it costs I think $ 89 and not $ 5–
Your registration looks OK are you sure you are not asking about Domain Mapping?

Sorry i guess it is domian mapping ? i’m still new to this.. it’s 18$ for renewal and i’m just short on money this week thats all so i was just wondering how long will it be until my domain wont be working ? It’s been 6 days already :/.

It’s a few days from what I have seen in the forum (I am not staff) – my advice is to borrow the money for the renewal if possible – the domain registration is the important part of your upgrades – if the domain mapping expires for a few days you still have the name but your traffic gets lost – if the domain name registration goes into Redemption it costs a lot more money and hassle
I have flagged this for staff help – but they are on a retreat this weekend plotting new things for WordPress so they might not be around for a while
