Domain Expiration
-
My domain expired last year – conversationswithcory@wordpress
I am “reupping” and now want to use conversationswithcory.com, which is available. But when I try to use it with my sign in, it says that always exists – how do I link the two?
Thanks so much
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s Cory again. I can’t use my original because it says that always exists. I hope I’m making sense! Thanks

Conversationswithcory.wordpress.com cannot actually expire. It is your permanent (and free) WordPress.com URL.
You had conversationswithcory.com registered as a custom domain for conversationswithcory.wordpress.com and conversationswithcory.com did indeed expire.
Happily, it looks like conversationswithcory.com is available to be registered. Simply log into your conversationswithcory.wordpress.com WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, enter conversationswithcory.com in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then simply follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.
