Domain expiration

  Hello,

  i’m the webmaster of the website https://splendidinternet.wordpress.com with the mapped domain http://emobil-rallye.com.

  The owner sent me an e-mail that his mapped domain going to expire. I tried to renew it but the button doesn’t appear above the yearly price.

  Please help me.

  Only the owner of an upgrade can renew it – they can transfer the upgrade to you at

  Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> Should be a Transfer option on the upgrade if you mouse over it

  Sometimes the staff need to help depending on the upgrade being transferred. I have flagged this for the staff to help

  But for the staff to help with the transfer the original owner needs to ask for the transfer to happen. They can do that by logging into this thread as the upgrade owner and ask the upgrades to be tansferred to you please use small clear words for the instructions

  There is currently no ability for another account that is not an Upgrade owner to pay for an upgrade

  Hi Oliver,

  As auxclass mentioned, only the WordPress.com user who originally purchased the upgrade can renew it. You can check to see what user owns the upgrade by going to Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard. Under the upgrade name on that page, you will see “Purchased by:” and the name of the upgrade owner. That user will need to log in to renew the upgrade.

  I will check who the owner is:
  “Purchased by” says that the owner is “E-Mobil-Ralley”.
  Is “E-Mobil-Ralley” the username (there is no such user) ?

  Unfortunately i have not been informed that the design is already expired.
  Is there any chance that the custom css will be recovered?

  Is “E-Mobil-Ralley” the username (there is no such user) ?

  No, sorry for not clarifying that earlier. That name is the display name for the user who purchased the upgrade. You can find the username for all the users on this blog under Users > All Users in the dashboard. (The upgrade owner is the second user on this blog.)

  The custom design upgrade expired several weeks ago, but you’re welcome to purchase it again from the Store page in your dashboard. Once the custom design upgrade is reactivated, your custom CSS will be restored.

  To clarify before I call the owner: If he goes to store and buys custom design for 30 $ the design will automatically be recovered?

  Yes, if custom design is purchased for that blog again, the customizations will be recovered. If you have any difficulty with that, please let me know and I’ll look into it. :)
