Domain expiration – no email or dashboard warnings
-
Hello,
My domain name, dan-bauman.com, has expired and I would like to renew it. I have examined the post “Domain Expiration” and it seems I have a long process ahead of me. I would like to note, however, that I did not receive any notifications over email or on my dashboard. If I had, I would have renewed the blog in a timely manner. Is there anyone at WordPress.com who could help me?
Dan
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The email can get caught in your spam filter – also the email notice is sent to the account / email that owns the upgrade – starts about 60 days before the upgrade expires

There is no domain upgrade available on dashboard. The domain expired 19 days ago. I’ve rechecked my spam folder. There is no email from WordPress regarding the domain name in the last 60 days.

1. You have to be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog and paid for the domain mapping upgrade.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility2. Notices are sent to the email address associated with that same username account.
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
3. As the domain mapping has already expired you need Staff help and I tagged this thread so you get it.

Emails and notifications are sent to the user who owns the domain, which in this case is not danbauman77.
Your domain dan-bauman.com expired on February. Before it expired, we sent email warnings to the owner of the domain and displayed notifications on your dashboard.
Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order. You can learn more about expired domains here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/
The good news is that you can still recover your domain, as it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else. A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal.
You can renew this domain and manage all your other upgrades under Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard, but you will need to be logged in as the owner of the domain.
