Domain expiration notification

My domain name expired, and I’m okay with that because I don’t intend to use it anymore. However, every visitor to my blog gets notification that it has expired, which is unnecessary in addition to being incredibly unsightly. How can I make that go away? It’s not something that the general public viewing my site needs to see or know.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oh no! This blog’s domain utexasflo.com expired 39 days ago!

I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

NOTE: Not renewing a domain means every link to it in Bing and Google search results will be broken and no matter where the links are clicked anywhere on the internet there will be a 404 (page not found) message. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/08/05/avoid-creating-404-pages/

Your other option is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/

I’d be happy to assist you. However, you’re not the owner of the site, nor are you the owner of the domain upgrade. Because the domain expired last month and is currently in redemption, I would need to hear from the user who registered the domain before taking further action since it is still technically possible for the domain to be renewed.
