Domain expired

    I failed to auto renew my domain hosted by go daddy last year. However i have just re bought the domain and would like to continue with the wordpress blog hosted on the domain by go daddy. However when I’m in my wordpress account none of my previous blog posts exist and neither does my domain- cant be found by the server. Can i rectify this?

    Hi there,

    If your site was hosted with GoDaddy, it means all the files of your site’s content was on GoDaddy’s servers, not ours, so the only people who might have a backup of your site is GoDaddy.

    If your hosting with them did not expire they should still have your site on their servers, so you should only need to reconnect your domain. You’ll need to contact them for help with this.

    If you had let your hosting with them expire as well and didn’t keep your own backups of your site, there is a very good chance that your site’s files no longer exist.
