Domain Expired

  Hello! I have my site VirginiaBloggers.com self hosted on WordPress.org. But it looks like my domain name expired and so it says I need to renew for $18. But I can’t find where I actually do that on WordPress.com. Every time I go to ‘Add a custom domain’ it’s like it’s the first time I’ve ever done it, even though I’ve had it this way for years and I just didn’t realize it was expiring. Does anyone know how to do it?

  You don’t need to add a custom domain since all you are doing is renewing one. Do you see it under “Manage Purchases”? https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

  I’ll need the help of our domain partner to restore VirginiaBloggers.com since it has been canceled. I’ll post an update here for you once I have more news, but I’ve already been in contact with them about this.

  The domain has fallen in to redemption. Because of that our domain partner requires an $80 fee to recover it. Please let me know if you agree to the fee and I can move forward.

  Yes! I agree to the fee! Do I need to submit my payment info somewhere? (I think my payment method on file expired… which is how I got into this mess!)

  It’s working now! I do have one other questions (This might be a silly question) But how do I login into my domain? I’m trying to set up a custom email address and it’s saying I need to login into my domain host, but I’m not sure how to find that.

  There are a few different options for custom email. This guide outlines those options:

  Click on My Sites > Domains > Edit DNS to change the configuration needed.
