Domain expired

  My domain was on auto-renew but it has somehow expired and disappeared from my account. How do I get it back?

  Hi there,

  Are you referring to northingtonfitnessandnutrition.com?

  We attempted to renew that domain on 22 August, and emailed you on 23 August when the renewal failed to go through. We sent several more renewal reminders before the domain expired on 22 September. Please check if those didn’t perhaps get caught in Gmail’s automatic filters.

  That domain has since been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.

  Yes, the emails were filtered. I agree to that fee and would love to get the process started as soon as possible.

  I’ve sent a payment link to the email address connected to your account. Once we receive your payment I can contact our registrar to restore the domain.

  I notice you also bought a Personal Plan for the other site in your account. If you only bought that to be able to contact support, or in trying to get the domain back, let me know and I’d be happy to refund that payment for you.

  Thank you- I just completed payment. I did upgrade to try to contact support. If a refund is available for that I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much. How long is the process after payment has been submitted to restore the domain?

  I’ve emailed our registrar to restore the domain. They usually reply within 24 hours, but I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

  I’ve also refunded the Personal Plan. You should receive the refund in about 10 business days, depending on the processing times at your bank.
