domain expired?

  my domain is valid until next year but stopped working for both website and emails.
  When I talked to WP supporter I was told to contact wildwestdomain who owns my domain. However, Wildwestdomain gave me a feedback that they are domain licencing company and provide domians for WP to sell to the end customers like myself. I paid and registered with WP regarding the domain, Wildwestdomain has no customer record for me.

  I need my domain back ASAP. can anyone help me out?

  Our records show that your domain thetopnotes.com expired on May 7, 2018.

  Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.

  Hi

  Thank you for your reply. I have just made a payment. Would it take a couple of days to get my domain back?

  Also, once my domain’s renewed, do both of my email and website work properly without extra editing?

  Thank you for your payment! I have already begun the recovery process and I’ll let you know as soon as your domain is restored. The recovery usually takes 24-48 hours.

  Hi there,

  Thank you for your support. My email is back to normal now but website is still a issue.
  I suspect it needs to point proper name server. However, on my ‘Domain’ page (https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/thetopnotesdotcom.wordpress.com), thetopnotes.com is not on the list. Only ‘thetopnotesdotcom.wordpress.com’ shows.

  please direct me to the right page to set the namer server.

  It looks like there was an error when recovering your domain from redemption, and it is still not on our system. I’ve emailed our domain provider again to get this fixed. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear from them.
