  Hello!, Can someone walk me through how to get my expired domain back? I was unaware that it had expired recently?? Please!

  Hi there,

  Is this for the domain, designbybrianna.com?

  That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.

  Please tag all threads related to expired domains for staff, as requested in our volunteers guide. Getting back an expired domain is a time-sensitive issue, and not tagging the thread right away wastes time while staff can simply look at the account to see what domain the user used to own.

  Hi there,

  I’ve sent you a payment link for the redemption fee. Once you’ve paid reply to the email or write us here and we’ll start the restore process. If we are unable to get the domain back for whatever reason we’ll refund your payment.

  Hi, I was wondering why I have to pay the $26 renewal fee as well? I thought it was only the redemption fee?

  The redemption fee is just what we have to pay the domain registry to get your domain back. Then the domain still needs to be renewed, as it is still expired. The redemption fee does not cover the cost of the renewal as well.

  Okay the renewal and redemption fee has been paid, how long till my domain will work again?

  Your payment has come through, thanks. I’ve started the recovery process by contacting our domain registrar. We usually receive a reply in 1-2 business days but I’ll be in touch again as soon as I have more news.
