Domain Expired

    My domain has expired. It tells me to contact wordpress, a couple of days ago I used this forum and was told that they would put in a request to wordpress but I haven’t heard anything back

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The domain, theholbornmag.com, belongs to the WordPress.com account with the username, theholborn1

    We can only redeem a domain at the domain owner’s request, so please log in as the theholborn1 account and reply here to confirm, and we can get the process started.

    Note that our domain provider charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption, that will have to be paid in addition to the regular renewal fee.

    Hi,

    I can’t seem to be able to figure out how to login as theholborn1 – it is one of my accounts, but I can’t remember password (my machine recently crashed with all my passwords saved on) – and when I ask to recover password I’m not getting an email to any of my accounts. How do I find out which email is associated with the account?

    Hi Morgan,

    Thanks for logging in. theholbornmag.com expired on 18th October 2018 and is currently in the redemption period. As @kokkieh mentioned, we can still try to recover the domain at this stage but you will be charged an $80 redemption fee in addition to the domain cost.

    I’ve sent a payment request to the email address on the Account Settings page of your theholborn1 account. I’ll start the recovery process by contacting our domain registrar once your payment has come through.

    Thanks for your payment, that has come through. I’ve contacted our domain registrar and will let you know when I hear back — this usually takes 1-2 business days but I’ll be in touch as soon I have news.

    Thanks for your patience. The domain now seems restored and functional. I see that it is currently pointing to servers outside of WordPress.com.
