Domain expired

  My domain kittycarterdance.com expired July 31st… I need to know how to get it back and functioning again. It’s not showing me where I can renew it.

  It actually expired 30th June and has now reached the redemption period so staff assistance is required. I’m afraid you’ll need to agree to pay the registrar the additional fees now required to attempt recovery. This thread has been tagged to ask if a member of staff to follow up.   Hi kittycarter –

  We will be happy to attempt and recover the domain from redemption. In order to do that, though, our domain partner charges an $80 fee. The total price will be $98 because your annual renewal of $18 did not get paid yet.

  If you agree to that payment write back here with confirmation. Then I will send you a payment form via email. As soon as we receive your payment we will reach out to our domain partner requesting the restoration of the domain. Typically they write back to us in 2-3 days with a status update. If the domain can’t be restored than we will issue a refund of what you paid.

  Yes, I agree to pay the $98 to get back up running.. We need the site up faster than the 2-3 days. Please see what you can do to expedite this. We are right in the middle of our registration.

  Good news! Your domain has been redeemed and is back in your account. If you head to https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/ and choose the domain, you can click “Name Servers and DNS” and toggle on the “Use WordPress.com name servers” switch. This will allow you to have your domain connected to your WordPress.com site in a number of hours.
