Domain Expired 4 months ago. Did I lose everything?

    Hi!

    My blog’s domain expired 4 months ago because I didn’t renew it on time. I’m quite upset, since I liked the posts and want to know if there’s any way I can retrieve the content from my old domain? If so, would it be free?

    I want to create a new domain with the same domain name that I had before, but just wanted to know if I can get back my old domain’s content back. Thanks!

    Since your domain name expired, your site simply reverted to its free domain, awesomeaussie.wordpress.com. For WordPress.com sites, domain expiration doesn’t affect your content at all. Looking at your site, I see posts from over a year ago. Is this the old content that you like? If so, the only thing you need to do is register a new domain.

    You might want to check and see if your domain renewal is set to automatic under ‘Manage Purchases’. That could be helpful to avoid this issue in the future :)
