  Hello, I have a question.

  I forgot to renew the domain, now wordpress ask to me to pay a penalty of $ 80 to reactivate it.

  Wath can I do to don’t pay the penalty and renew anyway the domain? I have not received any email alert to the deadline, it’s correct?

  Before a domain expires, we either try to auto-renew the domain (if that’s an option) or send notifications. We send several email notifications before expiration to the email address on the account, as well as put notifications on the Dashboard.

  After a domain expires, there’s a very small window of time when we can renew it for the same price. After that, our domain registrar imposes a late fee (which is common), and we cannot waive the fee, as we are required to pay the registrar once we renew the domain.
