Domain Expired
-
My domain expired, I knew it would expire, and I assumed that if I let it expire it would revert back to the .wordpress.com address, however, that didn’t happen. I switched my primary domain to the .wordpress.com address; still every time I or anyone else goes to that address, a warning comes up that my domain has expired. This is terrible for my followers and annoying for me. I try to cancel the domain and I get a message saying that I can’t cancel it because it isn’t a wordpress domain, but I have no idea why it says that.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Try canceling the domain mapping
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades
I will also flag this for the staff in case you need help

Hey, thanks. Every time I click on anything that seems right it just tells me about refunds (I don’t want or need a refund!). There are things that tell me how to map to a new domain, which I don’t want to do. I don’t see any way to “cancel” domain mapping. Either I’m too dumb to figure this out or it’s a never ending cycle of everything I click taking me back to another page that doesn’t do what I need it to do.

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the domain mapping upgrade to access the blog’s dashboard and cancel. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
To disable autorenew, provided you are logged in under the exact same username account that purchased the upgrades go to > Store > My Upgrades and click the “disable auto-renew” link.
I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance with canceling the domain. The process is laid out here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/ Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi Amber,
Sorry for the trouble! I just removed that expired domain from your account, so that “expired domain” message shouldn’t appear anymore. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help!
