Domain "expired"

I paid my $13 in August to renew my domain mapping and now my site is gone saying the domain has “expired.” What happened? How did it expire and how do I get it back?

Although mikedellosso.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. You need to point the nameservers to
NS1.wordpress.com
NS2.wordpress.com
NS3.wordpress.com -

Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM NS2.WORDPRESS.COM NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
