Domain Expired and In Redemption, How to Renew?

    Hello,

    I was informed this morning that my domain had expired.
    I posted once before but had the impression that the staff that answered may have looked at the wrong domain.

    I purchased 2 domains through WordPress.com years ago.

    1- michaelandcarinaphotography.com

    2- michaelandcarina.com

    The first I allowed to expire because it was a redirect. I know that this has been picked up by a 3rd party offering it for sale. I want to make sure that the staff member did not mistake my inquiry for this url.

    2- This is the site that I did not mean to allow to expire.

    It expired September 10th. It went offline this morning. Browsing forums lead me to believe that there is a “Redemption period” after the “Grace period.”

    I spoke to a GoDaddy.com rep who also confirmed that the website michaelandcarina.com is in redemption.

    Please, I am begging the community / staff, if possible, please remap my site and bill me for the rebuild. In another thread, a staff member wrote: “You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.”

    I missed the renewal warnings in my email as my mother was in the hospital at the time and I was trying to organize an assisted living situation for my disabled brother.

    Again, my website was still online as recently as last night. I understand the nature of grace periods and am willing to pay once it has gone down.

    I am not trying to reclaim michaelandcarinaphotography.com through this method, but the Domain “michaelandcarina.com.” This has already cost me a major sale. I am eternally grateful for all help as I depend on this url for my business. Thank you.

    PS. Finally, I also purchased a premium WordPress.com membership today. Is there any way to get faster customer support where I can talk to a person? Thank you.

    This is what it says on my account when I login but I can’t renew it.
    Whois says that it is registered with Wild West, or GoDaddy. Godaddy says it is in redemption and I should be able to renew it, but it has to be through WordPress. I’ve also put the URL on backorder.
