Domain expired: but it's not!!

    Help! My blog is down. Originally I got the message, “this website is not available,” and now I’m getting the message, “this domain name is expired.” But it’s not! I just checked my wp records, and I renewed in July. There must be a glitch with my old domain holder (namecheap) because that renewal would have been due this week. Please someone, anyone HELP!

    Although alexisorgera.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.COM nameservers.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums.

    Wait a minute. Why did I pay wordpress $13 in July for the domain hosting? I have never even heard of eNom.

    Hi Alexis,

    What you bought from us was something called Domain Mapping. It is a product which allows you to point your domain towards our servers and have our servers respond correctly.

    If you haven’t already, you need to make sure that you renew your domain with your registrar (your domain name provider) and once you do you can point the domain back towards WordPress.com via nameservers:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM

    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
