Domain Expired – Need Help

  hi all
  I am currently hosting my blog with wordpress and has the domain darioleventiniblog.com

  I now want to move to self hosted and I want to take that domain with me.. it probably expired a year ago and i know nobody owns it but the new company says wordpress has to delete it or release it or something? who do i talk to to get this done?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  did some more reading, the domain expired (because I let it, and didn’t know that was a no no) so i need to retrieve it.. how?

  Domain Expiration

  i read this.. I know the domain must have been re-released. I cannot find it. either someone bought it…or idk. I had a website pull up a report on it and nobody owns it.. may not have an IP address they say..

  can someone who WORKS FOR WORDPRESS please CHECK on this? I am sick of talking to myself.. and you are the people who sold me the name. so i need your guys’ help.
