I allowed my domain to expire, and I’d reeaally appreciate the support staff’s help getting it back.

Hi @laurencarte, we’re working on getting your domain back. It looks like it may be both cancelled AND in redemption so it may take a bit to sort it out.
If it is in redemption, will you be willing to pay the $80 redemption fee in addition to the normal renewal cost? If so we’ll send an invoice for that.

Hi Supernovia! Thanks for getting back to me! Yes, I am willing to pay the $80 redemption fee in addition to the renewal cost. Please send the invoice.
-
@laurencarte OK. We’re waiting to hear back from the registrar to see if it’s required. I’l send the full invoice, and if we end up not needing a redemption fee, we can refund that part.
-
Sounds good. I haven’t received the invoice yet. As soon as I do, I’ll send payment. Thanks for your help.

Okay. The invoice is out, the registrar is contacted. Reply to my email when the invoice is paid, and I’ll update you there when we hear more for the registrar. Cheers!

Just curious. How long does it normally take for the registrar to reinstate an expired domain?
-
-
Okay. Will I receive an email from the registrar in a day or so? Or will my website magically reappear?
-
The registrar won’t contact you but we will as soon as we hear back from them. We’ll likely be able to make it start working then as well.
