Domain Expired – Need to renew quickly!

Hi There
My website is currently down and i have since discovered that the domain expired in December after finding renewal emails in my junk inbox, so i had no clue. Are you able to help ASAP as my email is also down because of this and I’m loosing business.

Hi there,
Your domain, gourmetstreetkitchen.com, expired on 16 December and have since been removed from our system. That domain is now in redemption with our registrar.
It should still be possible to recover that domain, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from Redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the recovery process started.

Yes the fee is ok, please proceed ASAP. How long does this process normally take? I am loosing business currently.
Unfortunately I had no idea this had happened due to the reminder emails hitting my junk file.

I’ve sent you a payment link via email. Once we receive payment I can email our registrar, and from there it usually takes a day or two for them to restore the domain. This is a manual process on their end, so a waiting time is unavoidable.
Should the recovery fail, your payment will be refunded in full.

Okay, your domain is active and showing your site again. Just make sure your MX records in the domain’s DNS are still set at your hosting provider, and your email should also start working again soon.
