Domain expired, out of redemption period
-
My domain expired more than 3 month ago and since I’m not being offered any renewal options, I presume the redemption period for it is over. Can I still redeem that domain, how and what are the costs?
-
You can get your domain back if it is in the redemption period. But once the redemption period is over, the domain will available in the market.

Hi there,
Of what domain are you speaking? Then I can check if it’s still possible to get it back.
If you don’t see the option to renew on the Purchases page, it just means the domain is no longer in your account. It does not necessarily mean the redemption period is over.
Also note that even if the redemption period is over, there is no guarantee that your domain will become available to buy again. The registry can choose not to release the domain again, or much more likely, the domain can be on back-order somewhere, in which case it will be registered for someone else the moment the registry releases it. Should that happen, you will no longer be able to use the domain at all.
