What is the domain URL?
Allowing a domain to expire
When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/.
If you are in the grace period you will not have to agree to pay a redemption fee set by the domain name registrar that wordpress.COM staff cannot waive.
Otherwise, if you want Staff to try to recover the domain for you then you will have to agree to pay the $80. redemption fee.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into the associated account, and provide the domain URL here.
If you did not register the underlying .wordpress.com site then contact the person with the username account who registered it.
I’ve tagged this thread in the sidebar with modlook for Staff attention.
If you’re logged into the account that is associated with your expired domain, they will look up its status and get in touch with details. -
Howdy –
[removed] was last renewed on the account back in 2017-05-25.
I’m guessing that this is the domain in question. Please confirm.
In order to restore this domain we need the help of our domain partner. They charge an $80 fee for this service. Please confirm that you’ll agree to pay that fee.
Once I hear back we will send a note to them regarding hcbusinesssoftware.com.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. That is the domain name in question. I confirm the $80 fee! Could we make this thread private?

Hi there,
While we cannot make the thread private I did reach out to you via email with a payment link. Once payment is made follow up with us via email and we’ll start the redemption process.
I have also removed the domain name from the thread to help prevent it from being bought or redeemed by another party.
Let us know if you need anything else.
