domain expired through wix my wordpress site is down how do i renew the domain

  domain expired through wix my wordpress site is down how do i renew the domain so the site goes back up. thought as part of my premium membership the domain was included.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  do i need to renew with wix and point it back to wordpress or can i renew it with wordpress directly?

  Hi there,

  Since your domain is registered over there with Wix, you would indeed need to renew it there. You do get a free domain with your WordPress.com premium package, and you are using that for your domain mapping (which is what allows your domain to pull up your WordPress.com site correctly).

  You do have another option in that you can allow your domain to fully expire with Wix and could then re-register it here at WordPress.com. That process could take up to 90 days, however. Just FYI.
