Domain expired. Wish to renew.
-
Hi, I am a noob. WordPress says that the domain “thebackbenchers.in” has expired on Feb 9th.
I wish to renew it. The domain name itself is active. So I was just wondering how could I fix this so that I don’t get these expiry errors.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks.
Aditya

thebackbenchers.in – is not registered at WordPress.COM – it is mapped to a WordPress.COM blog – you need to renew the registration with your Registrar
If you are asking about the Domain Mapping upgrade – you should be able to renew it at:
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades
-
-
The my upgrades thing does not give me a renew option. For this wordpress asks us to get in touch with support. Weird!!!
-
It was a friend who did it.
All upgrades are owned by the original account that bought them and can only be renewed by the account holder.
You need to have your friend transfer the upgrades to your account – they can do that from their Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades
If they have trouble with that they can log into this thread with their account and ask for the specific upgrades to be transferred to your account – they need to be very specific about what needs to be done to help the staff make the transfers the first time

-
I flagged this for the staff to review your account
Sounds like you have already checked these places
You should be able to see the status of your upgrades at
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades – Upgrades except for themes are good for one year and only able to be renewed for one year – they can be renewed manually about 60 days before the expire date
Dashboard >> Store >> Billing History >> Has what you have paid for
-
The domain mapping is still under the ownership of the other user on the blog, but it looks like you’ve already renewed it through next year.
Sorry for the delay!
