DOMAIN EXPIRED (WITHIN GRACE PERIOD)

Hi, my domain expired on Thursday last week, (notification email was unfortunately not up to date). I’m hoping to claim back my domain and renew it asap and hope to do this within the WordPress grace period. It says to contact support but the only way to do that is through this public forum. Can someone please direct me to the next steps?

Is it about the domain mindrewind.net? This domain is still in redemption, which means we are still able to get it back but an additional fee of $80 is required by our domains partner.

If you are okay with that, please let us know and we’ll send you a link to the payment form.
If you do not wish to pay, you can wait until the domain is released, although bear in mind that it may take months and also, once released, someone else can claim it.

Thanks for confirming, I have sent you via email a link where you can pay the fees. Once this is done, just let us know here and we’ll start the recovery process. There’s nothing else to be done on your side, we’ll take care of the rest :)

Hi Fresatomica, I renewed the domain on the morning of April 11 (10th April PT) but still don’t see it appearing in my WordPress account.
I understand that it can take some time for the Domain to start working, however, should I start seeing it appearing in my WordPress account? I would have thought that I could at least see it listed under the domains I own?
If my WordPress account has rolled back to a free plan (as I only use WordPress for my domain registration), will this impact anything?

As the domain has already been removed from your account and from our system, restoring it is a manual process.
I’ve now emailed our domain provider to ask them to restore the domain to us. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear back from them.

Our domain provider has restored your domain, and I’ve reactivated the upgrade in your account. The domain is loading your site again for me – if it doesn’t for you, clearing your browser cache should fix that.
