Domain expired: would like to remove all affiliation with old domain.

My domain ran out an I couldn’t afford to renew it. Now somebody has purchased said domain and I would just like to map my blog back to thisisntreality.wordpress.com and delete any former association with thisisntreality.com

Ok, thank you very much. I have one more question if that’s ok. I would like to know if there is an easy way to fix all my old links that were associated with my blog. Basically links to old pictures that I posted still direct to thisisntreality.com instead of the WordPress address. Would I be able to fix this from the WordPress dashboard? or, would I have to download and install WordPress first before I could make such a change.

Can you give me an example or two (URLs) of where old links were using the domain thisisntreality.com?

it’s standard for all my old links, but i’m not sure where it starts sorry.
Is there any easy way you can fix all these links for me? or would it be easier to purchase a new domain first and then go from there? -

Forget about the gallery format question, I switched themes and it fixed my problem.

The files for http://thisisntreality.wordpress.com/ are all hosted at thisisntreality.files.wordpress.com.

Strange, if you go to thisisntreality.wordpress.com and go down a few pages an try clicking on links it will redirect to thisisntreality.com

The link you have posted above still includes the old domain, which is why it isn’t going to your blog. The correct link, http://thisisntreality.wordpress.com/2012/07/10/5937/lvwjrcglon1r7b34po1/ shows the post correctly.
I skimmed through all of the posts at thisisntreality.wordpress.com and they don’t mention thisisntreality.com

ok, must be something i’m doing wrong, thanks.
One more thing i’ve just purchased a new domain but on my dashboard -> my upgrades I still see thisisntreality.com it says status expired and only gives me an option to contact support to renew, how can I delete this?

That’s how the link was entered into the post. Switching your domain does not retroactively change any links added to posts.
You’ll need to edit the posts to correct the links.
