Domain fee

I’ve just bought the £26 domain name but when I went further is said that to actually use that domain name on my blog using wordpress as a platform, that I had to pay the $99/year. Is this correct? Does this mean that in order to us the ‘.com’ i just bought, I have to pay the premium fee? I have just deleted/refunded my purchased domain name until I am enlightened!

It seems you had registered lulujopp.com for $26 but it’s been canceled. If you want I can contact the domain registrar to restore your domain.
Note that there’s no need to purchase the $99/year bundle unless you are interested in the features listed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/bundles

okay so would I be able to get lulujopp.com back and continue to use that on word press without buy any further packages?
would it be possible to be talk through this as it seemed very unclear how yo do this.

The initial blog address is https://lulujoppdotcom.wordpress.com/ but your mapped domain is lulujopp.com. You can set your primary domain at https://lulujoppdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
Your visitors will only see http://lulujopp.com as your main domain.

okay cool thanks. so If i did a blog post now, it would come up on ‘lulujopp.com’ ….because at the moment if I google lulujopp.com it doesnt exist..

This is a renewal fee you’ve just paid to renew your domain. Your domain won’t expire until 2014-10-19.

So just to check, it was right to pay that, the domain fee of around £17 and the security or personal details fee of £8?

On my wordpress app, when I create a new category is doesnt give me the option to go back to my post.
The only way to exit it is to delete the app and re-get it.

Are you using an Android or iPhone?
After adding, selecting the category, you need to click the upper right of the app, where it states you’re on the Select Category page with the < arrow to return to the post editor.
