  I have two websites through you; one only costs $26/year for domain, and this one wants to charge $60!! Why??
  My other one is http://www.calpara.org

  Stand-alone domain upgrades have been discontinued (but if you have one you can continue to renew it). Now when you create a new site a custom domain is only available as part of a WordPress.com paid plan.
