domain for my website gone

  Hi, I’m trying to get the website I made in WordPress up again. The hosting company I use messed up and sent email notifications about the renewal of the domain to an old address even though I’d updated my details and they had been sending me emails about payments etc. to the right address. I only found out there was a problem when I went to open my website and it was gone! How can I get it up again? They say it’s been taken by a new owner and is not recoverable at this time. Thanks in advance for any help…

  That site on our WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   Thanks for the reply, timethief. All this is quite complicated for me. I hosted esthermolinephotography.com with Fat Cow and I’m in communication with them about this also. Are they the same as FranTech Solutions? I’ll try those wordpress.org links you gave me to resolve the domain issue and I’m seriously considering cancelling my account with Fat Cow and transferring the hosting of my website to wordpress.COM. Is that possible to do?
