Domain Forwarding?
-
for the past few years, I’ve been forwarding my domain name from Hover to my WordPress site but haven’t been actively using it in the last year. I noticed earlier this week that this forwarding is no longer working and WordPress has actually not charged me for the $13 I’ve previously been paying for Domain Mapping. I’ve tried from both within Hover and WordPress and I only seem to be getting an error that a site I’m not actually trying to go to doesn’t exist. It looks like the free tier has changed and I can no longer do this or am I understanding things incorrectly?

Hi thisisliana,
The domain mapping upgrade for ohheyliana.com expired and was removed from your account (we did send a renewal reminder to the email address on your Account Settings page though). It use to be available as a standalone upgrade but is now only available through a paid plan:
https://wordpress.com/pricing/
The Personal plan is the cheapest option if you are upgrading primary to map a domain. In the meantime, your site is still available at the free address (thisisliana.wordpress.com).
