Domain Forwarding

  I want to point my domain to an external site or redirect my domain name to another domain until I can transfer it out from wordpress.com.

  I am not using my wordpress.com hosted blog….I just need my domain.

  Please tell me what I need to do to fix this. I have already tried editing my DNS records to point to where I need them to go and now I am getting a parked domain page!

  If your hosting provider offers name servers, you can direct your domain to them following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/

  Thanks but that is what I have done and am still getting a parked domain page. I even go into the DNS record and zone file and it has the correct Nameservers (although they are saying they are “informational”).

  I don’t see any parking page at the domain.

  Just a mostly blank page that says, “pageok.”

  I recommend contacting GoDaddy to ensure that you have the correct nameservers. If so, the domain is now pointing to them, so you’ll need to contact them to resolve the issue.
