Domain Forwarding Charge

  I am being charged for domain forwarding for a domain (badassery.com,) that I don’t manage anymore. I set up a site for a friend, but it was abandoned. So I let the domain go. I didn’t see the domain in the WordPress.com dashboard.​ I would prefer that I be refunded, but at the very least could you set it to not auto-renew.
