domain forwarding for squarespace

  I purchased a custom domain from wordpress.com and this was automatically configured to redirect to my wordpress site. Now want to redirect this custom domain to a squarespace site. I have updated A and CNAME records as instructed by squarespace procedure, however, I am unable to perform domain forwarding (domain.com -> http://www.domain.com) as this is not an option under DNS domain settings.

  Is there another way to perform domain forwarding?

  I am also unable to delete the Site Redirect from my custom domain on the Store->My Domains page. I see no option to delete the redirect, all I can do is make my custom not primary.

  Is there another way to delete or remove this redirect?

  You can use your domain for a site at Squarespace by mapping your name server records here to point to them. You will need to first log in to the Domain Manager starting from this page:

  https://chiccreations.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
