Domain from WordPress

  I first created an account with a blog, but have decided to to with a web site. I have a domain through Blue Host, how can I transfer my WordPress web site to my account? It look like I only have a blog account.

  Howdy –

  Please share the domain you bought at Blue Host so we can check on the current status.

  You can create a blog, or a website, even a website with a blog included. It doesn’t matter-only the setup of things change.

  In order to move that domain to WordPress.com you’ll need the personal plan option. See here: https://wordpress.com/plans/

  Once that plan has been added to the account you can connect the domain.

  I paid for to host it through Bluehost. If I already created a blog log in page, but now created a web site I’d still have to pay for a personal plan?

  Can you explain in more detail what exactly you wish to achieve? You already have a website up and running at BlueHost. If you move that domain to WordPress.com (here) and buy a plan here you’ll just have a website here instead of at BlueHost.

  Sorry, totally confused over here.
  I want to publish my web site which I created through WordPress.
  Bluehost hosts my domain which I paid for.

  When I log into WordPress I don’t see my web site/domain, all I see is the original blog .wordpress page I originally played around with.

  I’m trying to figure out how to link my, Bluehost, domain to WordPress and publish my site.

  I can see that I can add a URL, but when I add rayofmorningsunshine.com I get sent to a pay plan.

  This is WordPress.com. You have created an account and a free site https://rayofmorningsunshine714216146.wordpress.com/ here. But you’ve also created a completely different site and domain at BlueHost which is somewhere else hence you won’t see that site here at WordPress.com. No doubt the BlueHost site is using the WordPress.org software. You need to log out from here and log in at BlueHost and ask them how you match your temporary address to your domain.
