Domain/Get Started

    I want to try out WordPress, before switching from my current site. But the steps I go through to ‘Get Started’ give me no option like that. I won’t really sign up with WordPress, until I test it and its site-building and editing functionality. Please tell me how to do that. Thank you.

    You have to create a site to play with the features, but you don’t need to pick a paid plan – the free one will give you a good idea how things work, and you can choose to upgrade at any time.

    Fill in a bit of info regarding your site’s purpose (even if it’s just a dummy site for testing purposes), then select your free WordPress.com URL, then select the Free plan – and you’re on your way!
