domain help

    Hi,
    I bought and registered domain through WordPress about a year ago. A few months ago I decided I no longer wanted to use WordPress as my web host and tried to map my domain to a different web host. I had issues doing that and decided that it would be best to cancel my plan and domain and register it with a different host. However, after I cancelled both the page said I would not be able to re-register the domain on a different website for a couple months. I was wondering if there was a way to expedite this period so I could re-register/buy the domain asap.

    Once your domain expires, it can be unavailable for up to 90 days. You can read more about the phases it passes through until it goes back on the market:

    I don’t think there’s a way to speed up the release process :(
