Domain help

    I need to build a new WP website whilst I still have my current website live (will be same domain eventually), but I put the same domain in for my new website…will this take my current website offline once I activate my WP account through confirmation email? I haven’t actually purchased an extra domain from WP yet?

    Hello –

    I see that you have purchased WordPress.com Personal Plan but have not yet used your domain credit. Your current site will remain the same until you switch the name servers over to ours.

    When you’re ready you can map your domain to your account.
