Domain help!!!!

  i deleted my wp.com site to re join with godaddy so that i can get a wp.org instead
  all of this was done yesterday morning only lasted about 1 hour with the service and received a full refund since i removed the service withing the 48 hour time period.
  how long do i need to wait to be able to re use my desired domain name when i go and sign up with godaddy? it said my site is parked with Automattic? i expected it would just delete itself once i canceled.

  and if someone can assist me on deleting my account that would be awesome i rather use a .org set up so im not one to keep my email on websites i no longer use
