  I have purchased, and make yearly payments for my custom domain name ‘samuelbjones.com’ but when I click on ‘Domains’ it says I have to upgrade from my free account to obtain a custom domain even though I already have one. Can someone help me with this??

  Hi there,

  There are no history of purchases under the account you are contacting us from – that is why you are most likely getting the message to upgrade from your free account.

  Do you happen to have another account in which the upgrade may have been purchased under?

  Hi There,
  Are you looking to map your site to your WordPress.com account? Currently when I look up your domain it is registered with FASTDOMAIN, INC. and hosted by Blue Host. It isn’t associated with your WordPress.com account so that is why it is prompting you to upgrade and obtain a domain.

  If you are looking to map your current domain, http://www.samuelbjones.com to WordPress I will attach a support page that should assist you.

  She is correct – I checked and there is no history of a mapping subscription for samuelbjones.com, but the domain is connected to your WordPress.com account via JetPack. Are you wanting to connect it to a WordPress.com account?
