  I clicked on the ‘edit domain’ link, but didn’t change anything. Now when I visit my site, it looks completely different and all messed up. I also can’t open the customizer for some reason

  I would recommend you trying after clearing the browser cache.

  I got the issue resolved, thanks everyone.
  Turns out it was just some network issues at my location, nothing more.
