Domain help!

  Hi
  I own a domain(on a different host) and I want to transfer it away from there. Can I host it on wordpress or do I need to host somewhere else like on GoDaddy or bluehost ? Please help

  You can very well host your domain on wordpress.com .

  1. You would require a plan for your site. Details of different plans & features can be found here:

  2. You can transfer the domain to wordpress using the following guide:

  3. You also have an option to map your domain with wordpress. This method associates your domain with your WordPress.com site, but the domain continues to be registered, and paid, at the other registrar.
