  I deleted an account on one email address and want to use the same free domain again. Can you help? It is for a uni assignment.

  I want to use this account (email visible only to moderators and staff) which is deleted. Then I want to re set it back up and use that email and the domain abbymiles20103796.wordpress.com which is free. Please can you advise. This is a requirement from my university. This account here (email visible only to moderators and staff) can be deleted.

  Hi there,

  The domain, abbymiles20103796.wordpress.com, is not free. That domain was deleted by the account that used to own it.

  Deleting a WordPress.com address does not free it up for another account to use. Deleting a WordPress.com address completely and permanently removes that address from our system so that no one can ever use it again. This is clearly explained on the page where you have to confirm a site deletion before you can complete it.

  We can undelete a site for 30 days, but only if the request comes from the account that used to own it. As you’ve also deleted the account in this case, you’ll first have to reverse that process.

  When you deleted the abbymiles20103796 account, we sent you an email to confirm that the account is closed. Please reply to that email to request that we reopen the account and restore the deleted site.

  If you want to manage that site under the abbymiles2435 account instead, you will then be able to transfer ownership of the site once it has been restored.

  Hi,

  I have emailed on both accounts. Please can I request a call to sort this ASAP.

  I emailed on this one and my uni email. I want to recover. I was told to use the free domain abbymiles20103796 So would like to reinstall / activate it.
