  If I have a free wordpress.com domain can I appear on Google? If people search my charity name will my website appear or will people only be able to access it via a direct link? I need people to be able to see my website on google, but because we are a charity, we can’t buy a domain. Is there any free way to do this?

  Sure thing. Plenty of free WordPress.com sites will appear on google. A custom domain can be nice for various reasons, but it’s not 100% necessary for SEO.
