  Hello I want to use a domain that I purchased outside of WordPress in my website but I wasn’t sure what plan I needed to be able to do this. Is upgrading to a personal plan enough? or do I need a higher priced plan for this? Also, is this available in a monthly plan or does this only apply in annual plan? Thanks.

  A Personal plan will be fine. I’d suggest paying annually as months fly by and monthly works out much more expensive in the long run.

  Hi there,

  You are able to connect a domain with any of the WordPress.com paid plans, which would include the personal plan.

  You can read up about how to do this at the link here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/

  The paid plans are available at monthly rates, but would be discounted if you chose a yearly plan (personal would be $9/mo when billed monthly, but only $4/mo when billed yearly).
