Domain Help
-
I’ll preface this by saying I’ve already contacted support about this, but they won’t help me because I don’t have a paid plan with wordpress.com
I used to have a paid plan and during that time, I also bought my domain through them. About 6 months ago, I migrated to another host and cancelled my paid plan. I was not aware that I would also lose access to managing and even viewing my domain. I still have the domain through wordpress.com, because it auto renewed in March and is still working on my website
I now want to transfer my domain out so that I can access it when needed, but since I literally can’t access it at all, I can’t transfer it. This is the message I get from wordpress.com when I go to wordpress.com/domains/manage:
Domains are not available for this site.
You can only purchase domains for sites hosted on WordPress.com at this time.
