  Hello everyone – I am hoping someone could help me somehow. (DISCLAIMER: sorry if this is all over the place and hard to understand – im a student trying not to cry at the moment)

  Anyway I recently purchased a domain through here – i have the confirmation email and transaction ID to prove this. Afterwards I wanted to change my username and once I did that the domain I purchased “disconnected” from this account – well I then received an email saying to verify that it belongs to me under this account and after doing that it took me to a screen saying its been verified. But when I go to check its still not there. The chatbot is no help and when it tells me to type connect to a human it tells me I need a paid plan – I cant keep dishing out money for something that was supposed to be for a simple assignment if anyone can help me connect the domain I bought to my site I would greatly appreciate it

  I completely understand how frustrating this must be, it can be confusing when your domain doesn’t show up as expected after verifying it.

  Since we can’t handle account-specific details here in the forums, the best way to get this sorted is to share your transaction ID and the URL of the domain at help@wordpress.com.

  That way, the team will be able to verify your purchase and connect your domain to your account properly, so everything works as it should.
