I have a web address through go daddy! When my account with Go Daddy ends, will I be able to register it with WordPress? My blog and my website is linked. I’m not sure why it still goes as two different websites. I want my jopunzel.wordpress.com to simply change to jopunzel.com but I don’t know if that happened. What will happen when my domain expires? I use the same log in for both sites. Help!

Hi @jopunzel! I would strongly advise not letting your domain expire. It can be a very difficult process to reclaim a domain that has lapsed in registration.
However, while technically the answer to your question is yes, unfortunately, WordPress.com doesn’t allow for domains registrations to be transferred to them. You can transfer a domain bought through WP.com to another registrar, just not the other way around.

As to the domain and your WP.com site not being in the same place, which are you trying to do – have your site point here to WP.com or the WP.com point to your domain? In either case you need to purchase an add-on – either the site redirect or the domain mapping, depending on which you are trying to accomplish.
